Forward Deployed Engineer
Sit with a firm’s IT, risk and knowledge people, get the workspace live across the whole firm, and keep it the easiest thing on the desk.
A firm of four hundred people does not adopt a tool because it was bought. Someone has to get it in front of everybody, connect it to what the firm already runs, answer the risk questions honestly, and then watch what people actually do with it.
That person is you. Runvo is pre-revenue, so the first deployments are ones you will design rather than inherit, and the standard they set is the one everything after them is held to.
What you will do
- Take a firm from signed to live: identity, access, and what the workspace is allowed to see
- Answer the security and data-protection questionnaires a firm’s own clients send it
- Work with the people doing the confidential work, not only with IT
- Find where the workspace is losing to a personal AI account, and fix that rather than police it
- Say when a firm should not do this, before it signs rather than after
What we are looking for
- Strong engineering background with production systems, and the temperament to be the technical voice in a partner’s office
- You can read someone else’s environment quickly and respectfully
- Clear written English: a good deal of the job is a document a risk committee reads
- Genuinely willing to give a firm an honest no
Nice to have
- Experience delivering into law, accountancy, engineering or consultancy
- Familiarity with the identity, directory and records systems professional-services firms already run
- Evaluation and benchmarking of LLM output quality against a real task
