Platform Engineer
Own the deployment path: how a firm’s own instance gets stood up, kept isolated, kept fast and kept current.
Runvo gives a professional-services firm its own private AI workspace at its own address and then operates it. Each firm gets its own instance, database, storage and keys, on single-tenant infrastructure in the region you choose, shared with no other firm. Runvo does not own GPUs and does not train models: the models are bought in, and which ones are in use is disclosed.
That makes the deployment path the product. Standing up a new firm has to be a repeatable morning rather than a bespoke fortnight, and the isolation between firms has to be something we can evidence rather than assert.
What you will do
- Own the path that stands up a new single-tenant deployment, end to end
- Keep the tenancy boundary provable: separate instances, data stores, keys and logs
- Own latency and cost of the serving path in front of the model providers we call
- Ship upgrades across every deployment without asking a firm to schedule downtime it did not plan for
- Instrument everything: if we cannot measure a regression, we cannot promise anything about it
What we are looking for
- Substantial experience running latency-sensitive production systems other people depend on
- Comfortable owning infrastructure as code, secrets and identity, not only the application above them
- You have run one stack for more than one tenant and know where that goes wrong
- You reach for a benchmark before you reach for an opinion
Nice to have
- Experience meeting UK or EU data residency requirements for a regulated buyer
- Background in security engineering, or in answering the questionnaires that follow it
- Open-source contributions to deployment, serving or observability tooling
We value a team built from different backgrounds and provide equal opportunities regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, neurodiversity or any other protected status. If you need an adjustment at any point in the process, say so and we will make it.
